DFB rejects appeal to reinstate Elversberg coach Wagner for Bayern Munich match

Consequently, Elversberg will head into their match against the Munich side without their manager on the touchline. Elversberg currently holds a position in the European qualifying places, having secured earlier victories over Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Mönchengladbach. Meanwhile, Bayern Munich enters the matchup following a performance against Schalke where the club dropped points.
