Diamondbacks face Guardians in key Wild Card matchup

The Arizona Diamondbacks meet the Cleveland Guardians in a crucial series as both teams vie for a Wild Card spot. The Guardians, despite ranking last in team OPS, showcase a strong pitching staff that allowed only 3 earned runs over 17.1 innings against the Diamondbacks. However, Arizona managed to take two vital victories in the series, largely capitalizing on Cleveland's struggles in the bullpen. Tensions escalated during Sunday’s game, resulting in a benches-clearing incident after a questionable bunt attempt from Tim Tawa. The Diamondbacks are currently evaluating potential roster moves ahead of the trade deadline.
