Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll currently leads Major League Baseball with 16 triples through September 3, 2026. This performance puts him on pace to lead the National League in triples for four consecutive seasons and all of MLB for three consecutive years. Carroll holds an eight-triple lead over the second-place competitors, Otto Lopez of the Miami Marlins and Jake McCarthy of the Colorado Rockies. This margin represents the widest gap between an MLB leader and second place since 1957, when Willie Mays finished with a nine-triple advantage over Bill Virdon. Despite playing through a sore lower back, Carroll remains in the Diamondbacks' lineup as the team pursues an NL Wild Card berth. The outfielder has reached a career-high of 17 triples in previous play and possesses the opportunity to further expand his lead during the final month of the regular season.
