Diamondbacks promote Tim Tawa, option LuJames Groover before Brewers game

The Arizona Diamondbacks promoted infielder/outfielder Tim Tawa from Triple-A Reno and optioned LuJames Groover prior to their game against the Milwaukee Brewers on July 5. Tawa entered the lineup at third base, with manager Torey Lovullo giving veteran Nolan Arenado a day off. Lovullo praised Tawa's performance in the minors, where he has a.320 average with seven home runs. Meanwhile, LuJames Groover's time in Reno is aimed at refining his swing for a stronger return to the majors.
