Diego Forlán appointed interim coach for Uruguay national team

Diego Forlán will serve as the interim head coach of the Uruguay national soccer team until the next international break in March. He replaces Marcelo Bielsa and will also manage the Under-20 team during the South American Championship next January. The Uruguayan Football Federation plans to decide on Forlán's future following elections at the end of the year.
