Corner Canyon safety Diesel Dart announced his commitment to the University of Utah on Thursday evening. The three-star prospect is the brother of New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart and the son of former Ute Brandon Dart. Diesel Dart had offers from several universities including Michigan and Ole Miss but chose Utah after a visit to Salt Lake City. Last season, he recorded 49 tackles and two interceptions while contributing offensively with 131 receiving yards and one touchdown. His commitment adds to Utah's recruiting efforts as they secure their second in-state player for the 2027 cycle.
