Dillon Dube signs one-year NHL contract with St. Louis Blues

Dillon Dube, one of five players acquitted in the Hockey Canada case, has signed a one-year, one-way contract with the St. Louis Blues worth $850,000. Dube's path to this signing included a year in the KHL and a successful audition with the Springfield Thunderbirds in the AHL, where he recorded 20 goals and 37 points in 46 games. Blues general manager Alexander Steen noted the team's commitment to giving players second chances and cited Dube's strong character as a factor in the decision. Dube, a former Calgary Flames forward, will enter training camp aiming to secure a roster spot. He is approaching his 28th birthday on July 20.
