Dimitrov exits first round as Tsitsipas advances at Cincinnati Masters

At the ATP-WTA Cincinnati Masters, Grigor Dimitrov was knocked out in the first round by Sebastian Baez, losing 1-6, 6-3, 6-4. Dimitrov, a former champion and currently ranked 138th, was unable to maintain a 4-1 lead in the third set. Meanwhile, 2022 finalist Stefanos Tsitsipas advanced after defeating Valentin Royer 7-6 (7/4), 7-5. Tsitsipas faced challenges at the end but managed to secure the win on his sixth match point. He will face second seed Felix Auger-Aliassime in the next round. In women's action, Venus Williams lost her 14th consecutive match, falling to Emilia Arango 6-2, 6-2.
