Dino Toppmoller expresses shock at RC Lens departure

Summary

Dino Toppmoller stated he was 'stunned' by his exit from RC Lens last month, having managed the team for only six games. His tenure included a victory over Paris Saint-Germain in the Trophée des Champions and a win in the UEFA Champions League against Slavia Prague. However, Lens occupies 10th place in Ligue 1 with just one victory under his management. Toppmoller’s departure resulted from differing visions regarding the club's restructuring plans, particularly regarding his assistant, Nelson Morgado, who also faced issues within the club. Toppmoller was replaced by Yannick Cahuzac on an interim basis.
