Director of Vince Young documentary hired investigator to find player's father

John Henion, the director of the Netflix documentary Untold: The Testimony of Vince Young, attempted to locate Vince Young Sr. during the production of the film. Henion confirmed that he hired a private investigator to track down Young’s father to further explore their relationship in the documentary. Despite coordination with Vince Young, his wife, and his sisters, the production crew was unable to establish contact with his father. Young eventually addressed his relationship with his father independently after leaving rehab, recounting their meeting in the documentary. Henion stated that he also sought interviews with Matt Leinart and Andy Reid for the project, ultimately securing a conversation with Leinart.
