DJ Davidson retires from NFL after four seasons with Giants

Defensive tackle DJ Davidson has announced his retirement from the NFL. The Washington Commanders placed him on the reserve/retired list, confirming his decision. Drafted by the New York Giants in 2022, Davidson played five games during his rookie season before suffering a torn ACL. Throughout his four years with the Giants, he made 47 appearances, including four starts, and recorded 46 total tackles and 2.5 sacks. Davidson's career highlights include a standout game against the Seattle Seahawks in 2024.
