DJ Dotson, a three-star offensive tackle from Oak Grove High School in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, has committed to the University of Georgia during his official visit to Athens on May 31, 2026. He selected the Bulldogs over other contenders including Georgia Tech and Ole Miss. Dotson, who is 6-foot-7 and weighs 320 pounds, is ranked as the No. 933 prospect and No. 72 offensive tackle in the 2027 recruiting cycle by Rivals. He becomes Georgia's ninth commitment for the cycle, joining a strong offensive line class under new position coach Phil Rauscher.
