Doc Rivers comments on front office dynamics, hints at Bucks tenure

Doc Rivers, former coach of the Milwaukee Bucks, discussed the importance of a competent front office in basketball during a recent appearance on the Ringer's 'Bill Simmons' podcast. While he praised the Boston Celtics and Oklahoma City Thunder for their strong organizational management, he implied criticism towards his time with the Bucks, stating, "there are a lot of front office guys who can go out and get the stars... but can you make the other moves?" Rivers noted names like Danny Ainge and Brad Stevens, emphasizing long-term success requires more than just acquiring star players. His comments suggest a longing for the successful front office structure he experienced in Boston.
