Dodgers acquire Tarik Skubal as MLB salary cap debate intensifies

The Los Angeles Dodgers traded for pitcher Tarik Skubal, a significant addition as the team aims for a third consecutive World Series title. Skubal's debut against the Cubs showcased his skill, though the Dodgers lost the game. As collective bargaining approaches this winter, players have expressed opposition to a salary cap, while owners are advocating for one, citing the need for a fairer system to prevent teams like the Dodgers from dominating.
