Dodgers acquire Tarik Skubal from Tigers ahead of trade deadline
Summary

The Los Angeles Dodgers have reportedly traded for Tarik Skubal from the Detroit Tigers, as reported by ESPN’s Jeff Passan. Skubal, a two-time AL Cy Young winner, is set to become a free agent this winter and has been a key figure in trade discussions. The Dodgers give up three prospects, including outfielder Zyhir Hope and right-handers River Ryan and Brady Smith, who were ranked as Los Angeles' No. 5, 7, and 17 prospects. Skubal boasts a 2.46 ERA and 11.0 K/9 since the start of 2023, significantly bolstering the Dodgers' already strong rotation as they pursue another World Series title.
