Dalton Rushing of the Los Angeles Dodgers has been diagnosed with a slightly torn UCL in his right throwing arm. The injury was confirmed by manager Dave Roberts during a radio interview, following Rushing's removal from the lineup due to arm pain. The Dodgers, who have also been without starting catcher Will Smith since June, made trades to acquire Ben Rortvedt and Hunter Feduccia to bolster their catching depth ahead of the trade deadline. While Rushing's timeline for recovery remains uncertain, the team is hopeful he can return as Smith's backup for the postseason.
