Dodgers consider re-signing Tarik Skubal amidst contract talks

The Los Angeles Dodgers are evaluating whether to re-sign starting pitcher Tarik Skubal, who has expressed enjoyment playing in Los Angeles. Skubal, a two-time Cy Young Award winner, joined the Dodgers shortly before the trade deadline and delivered solid performances, including a 2.61 ERA over ten starts. He is reportedly seeking a long-term deal worth approximately $40 million per year. Despite their playoff exit, the Dodgers aim to strengthen their roster ahead of future seasons, as Skubal noted the team's potential for continued success in the postseason.
