Dodgers defeat Tigers to take series at Comerica Park

The Los Angeles Dodgers secured a series win against the Detroit Tigers on Sunday with a 6-1 victory at Comerica Park. The game remained tied until the fourth inning, when Miguel Rojas drove in the first run with a sacrifice fly. Teoscar Hernandez provided key offensive support in the sixth inning with a 434-foot two-run home run, followed by a three-run eighth inning aided by wild pitches from the Detroit bullpen. Relievers Kyle Hurt and Seth Halvorsen closed out the final two innings to finalize the win. The Dodgers return home to host the St. Louis Cardinals this coming Tuesday.
