Dodgers' Edwin Diaz struggles during minor-league rehab assignment

Los Angeles Dodgers closer Edwin Diaz continues to face difficulties during his rehab assignment in Triple-A Oklahoma City. Since beginning the assignment on September 6, he has appeared in four games, allowing six earned runs and walking seven batters in just 3.1 innings. Diaz's last outing was particularly problematic, yielding five earned runs in two-thirds of an inning. His performance has not improved significantly since earlier struggles during the MLB season, where he posted an 11.85 ERA over 13.2 innings. As the postseason approaches, the Dodgers are considering whether to include Diaz on their roster, as they also prepare to welcome new reliever Kris Bubic.
