Dodgers expect Tommy Edman to return from injured list this week

Tommy Edman is set to be activated from the Injured List by the Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday. Manager Dave Roberts indicated that Edman will likely start in the lineup on Wednesday, having just completed a rehab stint at Triple-A Oklahoma City. Edman had been recovering from an offseason ankle injury. Roberts mentioned that the team is still determining how Edman will fit into their existing infield configuration. Meanwhile, Kiké Hernández is making progress and may begin a rehab assignment soon, while Edwin Díaz is slated to throw a bullpen session this week.
