The Cincinnati Reds fell 3-2 to the Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday at Dodger Stadium. Shortstop Elly De La Cruz accounted for one of the team's runs with a solo home run, tying his career high of 25. The performance extended his hitting streak to seven games and marked his fourth consecutive game with a home run. Despite the individual production from De La Cruz, who also registered a defensive highlight by throwing out Teoscar Hernandez at home, the remainder of the Cincinnati offense managed only three hits against Tarik Skubal. The Dodgers starter pitched 7 1/3 innings to lead his team to the win. Cincinnati has 17 games remaining in the regular season as it looks to build momentum for the upcoming year.
