Dodgers lose seventh straight, Edwin Diaz blows save against Diamondbacks

Summary

The Los Angeles Dodgers' losing streak reached seven games as they fell to the Arizona Diamondbacks 4-3 on August 7. This marks a sharp decline following the acquisition of Tarik Skubal, who was expected to bolster their season. Edwin Diaz failed to secure a save, allowing a ninth-inning homer to Ryan Waldschmidt. The Dodgers remain at the top of the NL West but dropped to the third-best record in the National League.
