Los Angeles Dodgers right-handed pitcher Jake Cousins began a rehab assignment with the AAA Oklahoma City Comets on Wednesday, September 2. The 32-year-old was placed on the 60-day injured list in April after signing a minor-league deal with the Dodgers in March. Cousins has not pitched in either the Major or Minor Leagues throughout the 2026 season. Previously, he appeared as a member of the New York Yankees bullpen during their 2024 World Series run, where he maintained a 2.37 ERA over 38 innings. Across his four-year MLB career, which included three seasons with the Milwaukee Brewers, the right-hander holds a cumulative 2.78 ERA.
