Dodgers place Dalton Rushing on injured list, option Emmet Sheehan to Triple-A

Emmet Sheehan was optioned to Triple-A after struggling in a recent outing, allowing three home runs and five runs in just over two innings. Management expressed confidence in Sheehan's talent but noted he must improve his performance at the big league level. The Dodgers also added Chuckie Robinson to the roster to provide depth at catcher in Rushing's absence, with Eliezer Alfonso starting against the Cubs. Eric Lauer remains in the rotation and is scheduled to start Wednesday's game in Chicago.
