Dodgers prepare for offseason with nine players entering free agency

Summary

The Los Angeles Dodgers are gearing up for the 2027 MLB season amid an offseason that sees nine players from the 2026 roster hitting free agency. Manager Dave Roberts and his team face a tight timeline before an impending lockout. The spotlight is on Tarik Skubal, a highly sought pitcher, but the Dodgers aim to strengthen their roster whether through trades or internal promotions. Analysts suggest a potential youth movement could invigorate the team, despite their recent shortcomings in the NL Championship Series. Despite these challenges, the Dodgers remain a top contender, currently ranked second in early power rankings for 2027.
