Dodgers prospects Emil Morales and Easton Shelton pursue historic minor league RBI totals

Los Angeles Dodgers minor leaguers Emil Morales and Easton Shelton enter the final week of their regular seasons with over 100 RBI each. Morales, a 19-year-old shortstop, has recorded 115 RBI in 113 games while playing across two levels. Ontario first baseman Easton Shelton has driven in 106 runs in 106 games and leads his circuit with 35 home runs. Only three Dodgers minor leaguers in the last 50 years have reached 100 RBI with at least as many RBI as games played, including Greg Brock in 1982. Dodgers prospect Josue De Paula also remains in contention for the 100-RBI milestone, currently sitting at 99 with 11 games remaining for Double-A Tulsa. James Tibbs III is also nearing the threshold with 96 RBI for Oklahoma City.
