Dodgers seek first August win against Diamondbacks amid losing streak

The Los Angeles Dodgers face the Arizona Diamondbacks on Saturday, August 8, in Phoenix. The Dodgers are on a seven-game losing streak, struggling particularly with offensive output. Despite leading the league with 61 quality starts this season, the team has lost three quality starts during this losing run. Yoshinobu Yamamoto is slated to pitch for the Dodgers, aiming to halt the slide that has seen the team average only 4.20 runs per game since July 1, placing them among the bottom half of the league.
