Los Angeles Dodgers catcher Will Smith will not return before the All-Star break due to ongoing neck inflammation that has sidelined him for 22 games. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts confirmed that Smith has not engaged in baseball activities and remains on the Injured List. Mookie Betts was scratched from Wednesday's game as a precaution due to a sore wrist; he is replaced in the lineup by Miguel Rojas. Betts has been performing well recently, hitting.406 with an OPS of.816 in June after recovering from a prior oblique injury.
