Dolphins claim tight end Justin Joly off waivers from Broncos

The Miami Dolphins claimed rookie tight end Justin Joly off the waiver wire on Monday. The move follows his release by the Denver Broncos on Sunday. Joly, a fifth-round pick in the April NFL draft out of NC State, struggled during the summer with physical development and blocking requirements. Denver general manager George Paton noted that an offseason injury hindered the rookie's progress before his release.
