Dolphins may release Robert Beal Jr. after training camp evaluation

Summary

The Miami Dolphins are evaluating their roster as training camp progresses, particularly for defensive end Robert Beal Jr. Despite being signed in the offseason, Beal has been projected to be cut after not standing out in preseason evaluations. Projected to make the final roster are seven other defensive ends, with younger options earning consideration over Beal. He was originally a fifth-round pick by the 49ers and has accumulated limited statistics in his three years there. With training camp ongoing, the competition for roster spots remains fierce within the Dolphins camp.
