Dolphins seek improvement during bye week after slow start

Summary

The Miami Dolphins are on a bye week in Week 6 following an 0-5 start to the 2026 NFL season. This period allows the team to assess their performance and prepare for upcoming challenges, as they face a tough schedule ahead. Currently tied with the Los Angeles Chargers and Tennessee Titans for the worst record, the Dolphins have an opportunity to enhance their draft position. If the Chargers and Jets win this weekend, Miami would move to the top spot in the 2027 NFL Draft order. Outcomes from games involving these teams could provide a significant advantage for the Dolphins as they look to rebuild.
