The Miami Dolphins are signing linebacker Shaka Heyward from the Cincinnati Bengals practice squad. This move comes after the Dolphins placed running back De'Von Achane on injured reserve and released defensive lineman Keith Cooper Jr. Heyward, 26, previously played at Duke and has spent the last three years with the Bengals, recording 22 tackles in 18 games. He joins a linebacker unit that recently lost Kyle Louis and Ronnie Harrison Jr. and will provide depth for Week 4.
