Dolphins trade for offensive lineman Caedan Wallace from Patriots

Summary

The Miami Dolphins traded a 2028 sixth-round pick to the New England Patriots for offensive lineman Caedan Wallace and a 2029 seventh-round pick on August 10, 2026. The move comes as the Dolphins seek depth on their offensive line after struggles with backup tackles in training camp. Wallace, who has faced injuries and limited playing time since being drafted in the third round in 2024, provides Miami with options at guard or tackle. The Dolphins will face the Patriots twice during the regular season, allowing Wallace a chance to compete against his former team.
