Donovan Robinson shines at Washington Football's fall camp

On August 14, Washington Huskies linebacker Donovan Robinson stood out during day six of training camp. The 6-foot-2, 225-pound redshirt freshman showcased his skills with a notable pass breakup. Robinson, who did not see game action last season, is competing for a backup linebacker role behind veterans Jacob Manu, Xe'ree Alexander, and Buddah Al-Uqdah. His versatility as a former defensive back and experience as a kick and punt returner may enhance his standing. Inside linebackers coach Brian Odom indicated that while Robinson faces competition, there may be opportunities for him to contribute, especially on special teams, as the coaching staff looks to keep players fresh throughout the season.
