Donterrius Mincey ties for national lead in running back touchdowns

Toombs County senior running back Donterrius Mincey has recorded 15 touchdowns this season, placing him in a tie with Wisconsin running back Kingston Allen for the most at the position nationally. Mincey reached the mark following a seven-touchdown performance during a 49-21 victory over Swainsboro. His single-game total against Swainsboro landed three short of the Georgia state record set in 1948 by Kenneth Moore. Beyond his scoring output, the Georgia State commit has tallied 628 rushing yards, which ranks third in the state behind Cooper Shumate and Danarri Brown. Toombs County is off this week before returning to competition to open region play at home against Beach on September 18.
