Dorian Van Dux and Sean Legacy become contenders for NXT tag titles

This week’s episode of NXT television was all about making it clear the newcomers are here, and setting them up for future opportunities. First, Dorian Van Dux & Sean Legacy became top contenders to The Vanity Project’s tag team titles by defeating Birth Right, DarkState, and OTM in a Fatal 4-Way, though there was some outside interference. Either way, the newer squad came out of the pack. Later, the same happened in a number one contender’s match for the women’s North American championship. Layla Diggs managed to get the job done against a field of Lizzy Rain, Izzi Dame, and Thea Hail for the right to challenge Zaria. Both title matches take place next week. Meanwhile, we’ll also be getting a top contender’s match for the women’s championship held by Kendal Grey, and that will feature Lola Vice, Kelani Jordan, and Kali Armstrong. We’ll see if they hold true to the theme in that match next week.
