Dortmund sporting director Ricken targets three more transfers this summer

Borussia Dortmund's sporting director Lars Ricken announced plans for three additional transfers during a media briefing on July 14, 2026. Despite a slow start to this summer's transfer activity, Ricken expressed the club's desire to improve the squad rather than rush into signings. He highlighted the positive contributions of recent signings like Joane Gadou, who has strengthened their central defense. Ricken noted their focus on making informed decisions to ensure long-term success, rather than quick fixes.
