Dortmund submits offer up to €17m for centre-back Bastien Meupiyou

Borussia Dortmund has made an initial offer for 20-year-old Bastien Meupiyou, a centre-back from FC Alverca. The reported offer includes a fixed fee of €12 million with potential bonuses of up to €5 million. Dortmund has been tracking Meupiyou since January, and he played 32 matches last season. Wolverhampton Wanderers, who hold a buyback clause, are not expected to activate it and will benefit from a 50 percent sell-on clause from his previous transfer. This could lead to Meupiyou joining Dortmund as their second defensive signing this summer, following Joane Gadou.
