Dr. Frank Domino serves as volunteer physician for LPGA FM Championship

Dr. Frank Domino, a professor at UMass Chan Medical School, served as the on-call tournament physician for the LPGA Tour's FM Championship at TPC Boston. The Northborough resident volunteered for three days during the event, managing 10 to 15 phone calls regarding minor health complaints from players and their families. This marks his second year in the role after initially emailing tournament director Patrick Healy to offer his medical services. While not assisting participants, Domino observed professional play to study swing mechanics and follow competitors. The tournament maintains a dedicated health tent and on-site emergency personnel to handle major medical needs, while the physician role focuses on player support throughout the week.
