Dragon Lee injures thumb, withdraws from AAA event in Aguascalientes

It’s been a decent couple of weeks on WWE television for Dragon Lee, as he got a nice showcase against Je’Von Evans last week before teaming up with the young star in a non-title tag team bout against The Vision on Monday Night Raw this week. Unfortunately, he suffered an injury at some point and he’s now dealing with some kind of tear in his thumb. He announced as much on his Instagram stories, with a picture first and then a video talking it over (via Instagram). He would go on to say that the injury occurred near the end of the match this past week, and x-rays showed a tear in the ligament in his thumb. That means he’ll have to pull out of his scheduled appearance in Aguascalientes tonight (Sat., July 25, 2026) where he was scheduled to wrestle for AAA against La Parka and Mecha Wolf in qualifier for the vacant AAA Latin American Championship. No word on when he’s expected to be back.
