Dragoons suffer first loss against Niners in Fort Scott

The Fort Scott Dragoons faced their first defeat of the season, losing 12-3 to the Nacogdoches Niners at LaRoche Baseball Complex. Nacogdoches took an early lead with two runs in the top of the first inning, capitalizing on an error and a hit. The Dragoons managed to score one run in the bottom of the second but struggled offensively thereafter. This loss leaves the Dragoons with an 18-1 record while the Niners improve to 18-1. The teams are set to play two doubleheaders, one on June 19 and another on June 20.
