Drake Maye ranked ninth in PFF's quarterback rankings ahead of 2026 season

Drake Maye, the New England Patriots quarterback, ranks ninth in Pro Football Focus' latest quarterback rankings as the 2026 NFL season approaches. This follows a strong 2025 season where Maye threw for 4,394 yards, 31 touchdowns, and eight interceptions, leading the Patriots to an AFC East title and a Super Bowl appearance. PFF analysts note that Maye excelled at attacking the perimeter and expect him to benefit from new receiving threats like A.J. Brown. While some regression may be anticipated due to a tougher schedule, Maye's performance could maintain high production levels this season.
