Drew Allar connects with Kaden Wetjen in Steelers preseason opener

In the Pittsburgh Steelers' preseason debut against the Green Bay Packers on August 13, rookie quarterback Drew Allar entered the game during the second half. He quickly connected with fellow rookie Kaden Wetjen for a significant 74-yard catch and run that nearly resulted in a touchdown. Allar capped that drive with his first NFL touchdown on a short run, giving the Steelers a 14-9 lead. Will Howard started the game, throwing for 86 yards without a touchdown.
