Drew Lock leads Seattle Seahawks to comeback win over New England Patriots

The Seattle Seahawks defeated the New England Patriots 13-10 in the NFL season opener on Wednesday. Drew Lock replaced starting quarterback Sam Darnold after Darnold sustained a hip injury on the team's opening drive. Seattle trailed 10-0 in the third quarter before Lock orchestrated a scoring drive that ended in a field goal. Lock later connected with Jaxon Smith-Njigba for a 45-yard touchdown pass to tie the game in the fourth quarter. The Seahawks secured the victory following a late interception of a pass thrown by New England quarterback Drake Maye in the end zone. Lock finished the game 16-of-22 passing for 187 yards and one touchdown. The Seahawks are scheduled to play the Denver Broncos on October 15.
