Drew McIntyre has not appeared in WWE since WrestleMania 42, where he lost to Jacob Fatu. Initial expectations for his return prior to SummerSlam now seem unlikely after he was cast in a new film, "The Last Druid," alongside Russell Crowe. Reports indicate he is involved in multiple Hollywood projects, which includes filming alongside Henry Cavill in Scotland for the "Highlander" reboot. McIntyre's role in "The Last Druid" has not been disclosed, but the film will be shot in Spain and is set a quarter century after "Gladiator."
