Drury and Missouri State prepare for annual Battle for Bell at Meador Park

Drury and Missouri State will meet for the 10th annual 'Battle for Bell' baseball game on October 3 at Meador Park. The game, scheduled for 6:30 p.m., aims to raise funds for the Howard Bell CoxHealth ALS Clinic in Springfield. Ticket sales contribute to ALS research and honor Howard Bell, who passed away from the disease in 2013. The inaugural game took place in 2012, establishing a tradition of community support alongside baseball rivalry. General admission tickets will be available for $5 at the gate. The event will be preceded by a noon game featuring Evangel and Mission.
