Duke aims to build a top-tier defense in college basketball season

As the college basketball season approaches, the Duke Blue Devils focus on enhancing their defensive capabilities. Analysts believe Duke can develop one of the best defenses, supported by returning players Patrick Ngongba, Caleb Foster, and Dame Sarr, alongside new additions from the transfer portal. Coach Jon Scheyer's roster features competitive players committed to defensive intensity, which could be crucial following their previous season's near-championship run. Duke, which secured a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament last season, looks to improve after an early exit against UConn. Preparations are underway for the upcoming season, with high expectations for their defensive lineup.
