Duke and UNC players announced for ACC media days in Charlotte

Duke football coach Manny Diaz will bring tight end Jeremiah Hasley, running back Nate Sheppard, and linebacker Luke Mergott to the 2026 ACC Kickoff in Charlotte on July 17. Duke's team secured an ACC championship in 2025. Meanwhile, UNC coach Bill Belichick will be joined by wide receiver Jordan Shipp, offensive lineman Christo Kelly, and defensive lineman Melkart Abou Jaoude at the same event. Shipp will represent the Tar Heels for the second year after a strong 2025 season. The media days will feature players and coaches from all 17 ACC programs over three days, beginning with Commissioner Jim Phillips' address on July 15.
