Duke basketball players participate in scanning for NBA 2K27 feature

Duke basketball players underwent a scanning process by the NBA 2K production team on campus this week. The images collected are intended for a college basketball feature integrated into the upcoming NBA 2K27 video game. This development follows Duke University's previous inclusion as one of 16 schools featured in NBA 2K26. While the project brings current players into the digital game, it remains a component of the existing NBA 2K platform rather than a standalone college basketball title. EA Sports currently maintains a separate college football series, but 2K has not released a dedicated college hoops game since College Hoops 2K8.
