Duke intensifies recruitment of Kager Knueppel, brother of former star

Duke is increasing its efforts to recruit Kager Knueppel, a top prospect in the 2027 class and the younger brother of former Blue Devils player Kon Knueppel. Associate head coach Chris Carrawell attended a recent evaluation session, highlighting Duke's interest in the 6-foot-10 forward. Kager Knueppel stated he is exploring multiple options and is not solely focused on Duke, with significant interest from programs including Michigan and Purdue. He has seen a notable rise in national rankings, moving up 28 spots in the Composite rankings to No. 52, and climbing 94 spots to No. 28 overall in 247Sports' Top 150 rankings. Kager aims to carve out his own identity separate from his brother's legacy before making a decision.
